Ultimus Engineering provided an in-depth analysis of an equipment skid to help solve the issue of significant field vibration. By working with videos and vibration studies taken from the installed field location and combining that data with 3D modeling and FEA analysis, Ultimus was able to move the resonant frequency of the skid package outside of the harmonic frequency being generated by the associated industrial equipment.

Iterations of skid design along with site visits and a thorough investigation of manufacturing best practices lead to a 300% improvement due to the reduction of vibration within the skid package. In addition to the vibration analysis performed by Ultimus Engineering, training was also held for the engineering team of the company to help future in-house investigations.
